Hey there internet buddies!
It's me, Ian, from Northampton. That's right NORTHAMPTON ("noho" is a no-no.)
Just some random thoughts, about our favorite thing...MUSIC!
So, Wilco's "Ghost is Born" is better than we thought it was. By 'we' I mean, me and Ryan. When it came out, we were all "yeah that's ok", but now we're like "dude, play that again!" The only thing we don't like is the end of 'handshake drugs'. Great tune, don't get me wrong, but we don't need feedback for that long. I think bands often overestimate the radness of feedback. It's rad, sure, but in doses. It loses its power over the course of several minutes. However, if it's preceding a killer solo from the Nuge, I get shivers. It's like the Nuge shot me with one of his flaming arrows. Anyway, new Wilco album soon ("Sky Blue Sky" is the title I think.) Am I too pumped? probably. But you shouldn't judge, lest yee be judged. Someone said that.
my favorite track right now is "Hummingbird". It's true.
Yesterday, Josh played Uriah Heap's "Look At Yourself" and I followed it up with "Queen 2". Minds were blown. There were customers who thought they were exploring the outer limits of space and time. Just another fantastic service Turn It Up! provides. Mind blowing.
Catch ya later!
