Marc Woodworth (author of Guided By Voices - Bee Thousand in Continuum's 33 1/3 series) will be appearing at our Northampton store at 6pm to coincide with GBV-frontman Robert Pollard's show at Pearl Street the same night. Marc tells us that we can look forward to excerpts from interviews, a rare song, and an anagram contest!!!

33 1/3 is a series of short books about critically acclaimed and much-loved albums of the past 40 years. By turns obsessive, passionate, creative, and informed, the books in this series demonstrate many different ways of writing about music. What binds this series together, and what brings it to life, is that all of the authors—musicians, scholars, broadcasters, and writers—are huge fans of the albums they have chosen.
